Known as “Deadlock II: Krieg der Altäre”. Translated independently from the German version of Deadlock I, as evident by the countless alternate German translations in the game, Rocketry, translated as “Raketentrieb” in Deadlock I, is now “Raketentechnologie”. Voices were not dubbed, but left in English, a rarity for German translations.

Publisher: THQ

Manual: German

Game Version: v1.11 G

Includes Editor: Yes

Rarity: Relatively Common

Covers: Front | Back

By far the latest release of Deadlock (I or II) and the only Deadlock release to bear the Infogrames (now Atari) logo. The game features an updated manual with German screenshots and CD artwork matching the US version. The German version included on the CD was unchanged from the original release.

French Localised Version (1998)

Manual: French

Text: French

Voices: English

Game Version: v1.11 F

Includes Editor: Yes

Covers: Front | Back

Known as “Deadlock II: la Guerre de Sanctuaire”. Like the German version, it seems that the game’s translation into French was made completely independently from the original’s French version. Voices were left in English and subtitled, like the German version. All territory names are missing accents.

Released by C.T.O., with the manual translated into Italian. The game itself was left in English.

Publisher: Ecobit Multimedia

Manual: German (installation instructions in Hungarian)

Voices: English

Game Version: Windows v1.11 G

Includes Editor: Yes

Rarity: Rare

Covers: Front | Back

Presumably released as part of a series of releases bearing the name “Játszd újra!” and published by Ecobit Multimedia. The release features exactly the same disk as the original German version. The game only includes a small set of installation instruction in Hungarian, the full manual is included in German on the game CD. This is the only release of Deadlock I or II known to include the game version from another non-English territory (as opposed to including the game translated into the local language or the original English version).

Released under the title 死亡封鎖線II: 最後聖戰” (Death Blockade II: The Last Holy War?). The box appears to be the same as the US version, with the name in Chinese stuck on the cover via a sticker. Everything on the box other than the logo is in English, so presumably everything else is too.
