Deadlock II: Shrine Wars

In the follow up to one of Accolade’s best selling titles of 1996 and 1997, Deadlock II expands on it’s predecessor with exciting new features, including new Military Units, Technologies, Buildings, a new territory type, a Single-Player Campaign, Multi-Player over NetAccolade (now defunct) and a redesigned interface. This is also Cyberlore’s first game to use their phonetic editing system, which is used for the animated characters.

Unfortunately, the Macintosh was suffering from poor sales, with Apple suffering from low stock and a lack of profitability. As a result Cyberlore, like many companies, chose not to release Deadlock II for the Mac. Soon after, the late Steve Jobs took over Apple and the company started to prosper, now more than ever before.
